Joint Market Inspection Conducted in Kunzer to Check Overpricing and Violations
Kunzer, Feb 23: A joint market inspection was carried out today in Tehsil Kunzer under the supervision of the Naib Tehsildar Kunzer, in coordination with the Municipal Committee Kunzer, Police Station Kunzer, and the Food & Civil Supplies Department.
During the inspection, several market establishments were thoroughly checked to ensure compliance with government norms. Officials examined rate lists, hygiene conditions, stock registers, and quality control measures to verify adherence to prescribed regulations.
Shopkeepers were directed to strictly display updated rate lists, maintain cleanliness in and around their establishments, and avoid any malpractice including overpricing or sale of substandard goods.
The inspection team warned that strict action will be taken against violators under relevant legal provisions. Authorities reiterated that such drives will continue in the coming days to safeguard consumer interests, prevent hoarding, and ensure transparency in market practices.
Officials further stated that regular inspections arepart of ongoing efforts to maintain fair trade practices and protect the public from exploitation.
